Links to material produced by a group of Republicans dedicated to defeating Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box

This page provides links to the videos and podcasts produced by a political action group called The Lincoln Project. These links are not yet provided in a comprehensive fashion on the group’s main web page (right). [See also Political Ads for the 2020 Presidential Election.]

The group’s genesis is described in a December 2019 op ed in the New York Times: We Are Republicans, and We Want Trump Defeated. Its success to date is discussed in a pair of columns on 11 July 2020: Frank Bruni in the Times (The Republicans Who Want to Destroy Trump) and Ashley Parker and Robert Costa in the Washington Post (The once-mocked ‘Never Trump’ movement becomes a sudden campaign force). On 21 July 2020, Jonathan Chait in New York Magazine asked Why Is the Left Angry at Republicans Working to Elect Joe Biden?, and on 22 July 2020, Max Boot in the Washington Post wrote The Lincoln Project understands that Trump’s enablers must pay a price.

The group’s Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/thelincolnproject.us/ and its Twitter feed is at https://twitter.com/ProjectLincoln.

Its Zoom Town Hall held on 30 July 2020 can be viewed at The Lincoln Project National Virtual Town Hall-July 30, 2020 (72 minutes) and that on 9 July 2020 can be viewed at The Lincoln Project National Virtual Town Hall (83 minutes).
